A possible synonym for “RAVELLED” is „complicated”. “RAVELLED” describes our world, full of misunderstandings, injustice, fear, confusion and questions. Is it possible to be led to solutions, to answers, to light, to a remedy? The exhibition represents ESSE, the largest creature in the room. Esse means life, entity. It symbolizes given leading through the confusion.
“RAVELLED” also means “tangled”, a technique that is the main starting point for the creations and pieces present in this exhibition and also a word which describes our personal connections. Despite all the meanings, the exhibition through the paintings, depicts a solution rather than a problem. I draw on the conception of choice. The choice that will be heard.
